Hotel Touring, a charming 3-star gem in the heart of the city, is a delightful blend of old-world charm and modern convenience. The location next to the train station is a boon for rail travelers like myself, making it effortlessly accessible for explorations beyond the city. The vintage decor exudes a nostalgic allure, with lovely old photos adorning the walls, transporting guests to a bygone era of elegance.The room, though showing signs of wear, had a newly renovated bathroom that was a pleasant surprise - clean and well-equipped with a bidet and shower, along with complimentary toiletries. The free WiFi throughout the property was a blessing, once the router glitch was swiftly resolved by the attentive staff. Speaking of the staff, apart from one minor exception, they were helpful and accommodating, with the owner going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay.In terms of location, the hotel's proximity to the main shopping area and easy access to activities like Caronte & Tourist and Villa San Giovanni Ferry Terminal make it a strategic base for sightseeing and local experiences.
